A classic 1930's Topanga hunting lodge. You can feel the history when you enter this quaint house. The original structure was one large room built of rock and wood beams with a massive river rock fireplace. That room is still the center of the house but over the years indoor plumbing (two bathrooms) has been added as well as two bedrooms, a library/living room, and a laundry. Lots of skylights. The master bedroom has its own viewing balcony. One bedroom is currently used as an office and dining area. Could easily be converted into a three-bedroom house.

Outside are several flat terraced gardens, a sunny lawn, orange, pomegranate, black walnut trees, roses, rosemary, and blackberry vines. In addition, there is a large private deck with a built-in covered sitting area and a view of Strawberry Peak. The house is wired for fiberoptics fast Internet access.

This house is definitely very charming and the perfect hide-away if you want to get away from the buzz of the city. You'll feel like you're at your cabin in the Sierra Nevada.

Convenient close-in location. Even though the house has an address on Old Topanga Canyon Road, it is not really on Old Topanga Canyon Road but on a small country road called Yule Lane (not on any maps). Call agent for detailed directions.
